Council of Neighborhood Associations, or CONA, maintains fluency of information between Pasco County Civic, Condo, Homeowner Associations and special districts in order to promote harmony and education. The council was founded in 1985 by a group of area residents who desired to improve neighborhood conditions. The coalition invited 65 subdivisions to attend an initial meeting, during which the entire bylaws were written and the name CONA was established. In 1987, the organization was incorporated. Today, CONA acts in favor of these groups before state and local government.
